Joe Dion started developing Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken in 1976. At that point, he already had over a decade of experience in the restaurant business, including a Jack-in-the-Box franchise and two Pioneer Chicken franchises.

Joe spent several years developing the recipe and trademark, traveling to New Orleans to consult top chefs to achieve an authentic southern flavor. Because of his passion and love for Louisiana foods, the birth of Louisiana Fried Chicken has come to existence as we know today.
